Target, Global Supply Chain Logistics: Operations Manager Intern

As an Operations Manager Intern I learned how to lead, motivate and influence a team, including the opportunity to lead the whole Minneapolis Sortation Center.

During this summer program, I worked closely with my personal mentor as well and many others while learning different business areas and functions within the building. I created building wide plans that were followed by team members and management as well as led critical meetings throughout our daily routines. My days were spent leading and motivating my team to drive results and make an impact.

YMCA Center For Youth Voice: Secretary General Intern

June 2022 - May 2024, Minnesota

Led the organization and management of a prominent youth Model United Nations conference with 1,000 delegates, stimulating thoughtful debates and discussions on global foreign affairs issues.

Responsibilities included developing detailed resource papers and study guides for delegates, creating and leading training for volunteers and students, and delivering compelling speeches that inspired and motivated. I was also in charge of the recruitment and training of a 30-member Secretariat team, transforming them into valuable resources for delegates.

Sunrise Draperies: Sewist

May 2022 - July 2024, Forest Lake, Minnesota

I leveraged my self-taught sewing skills into the world of drapery to create bespoke window treatments for a small business, helping expand its product offerings, attracting new customers, and increasing visibility.

The role included executing project planning and managing custom orders for Parade of Homes and individual clients. I implemented efficient workflows that led to a reduction in project lead time and an increase in overall project satisfaction. As a team member, I was focused on fostering and maintaining customer relationships through excellent service and exceeding customer expectations.
